2016 Dhaka Central Jail at Keraniganj, developed on 31 acres at Tagharia Union's Dakshin Rajendrapur and about 12 km from the overcrowded Dhaka Central Jail in Old Dhaka, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
